Poroti School

Poroti School is a small Year 1 – 8 school, in a great rural environment for children to develop and learn.  

Our school provides our students many opportunities in the classroom, and outside the four walls, We have extensive grounds with an established orchard, gardens, shaded playground, swimming pool, trampoline, and bikes.  

Poroti School is a Bronze level Enviroschool and this aspect of the curriculum is important to us.  

Up-to-date and effective learning programmes in all curriculum areas keep students engaged and excited about their learning.  

The students enjoy the experience of the different foods on offer from the daily, free lunch scheme.  Close ties are kept with the surrounding schools for sporting and cultural visits, providing our students with opportunities to meet and participate with wider school communities.  

We have multi-age groupings in our classrooms, with our students learning at their own level.  

Students at Poroti School have a sense of belonging, they know and care about each other in a family atmosphere. Every student matters, every day counts.
